SHIPPING & RETURNS
Shipping and Delivery:
Silaai is a make-to-order brand and each piece is made especially for you when ordered on our online store. International orders are usually delivered within 21-28 working days and domestic orders within 10-15 working days.
Once ordered, you will receive an email confirming the details of the order – product(s) ordered. All orders are made in-house and shipped from our home studio in Ahmedabad, India and will be delivered to the shipping address mentioned at checkout.
Please note that the current delivery timeline is affected due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
SHIPPING WITHIN INDIA
We offer free shipping for all orders within India through registered courier companies.
For deliveries within India taxes and duties are included in the price of the products listed on the Web shop.
The shipping cost is calculated at the time of placing the order depending on the destination, weight and volume of the products purchased. We charge between INR 1500 to 3000 for international shipping.
For deliveries outside India, custom duties and local taxes are not included in your order, and are over and above any shipping and handling charges paid at checkout. The amount of duties and taxes depend on the policies of your destination country.
CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to cancel your order, you may write to us within 24 hours of placing the order at email@example.com. The payment will be returned in the same mode as received within 14 working days. Once an order goes into production, cancellation and refund is not possible.
Please note that our delivery timeline does not include unforeseen delays due to natural disasters, war, calamity, epidemic or situations outside of our control. In such circumstances, your order will be processed and dispatched after our production and supply chain resumes smoothly when any of the above events have passed.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
At Silaai, we make products with love, care and ensure strict quality control. As we are a made-to-order company we do not accept returns. However in the following scenarios it is possible to exchange the item(s) ordered:
Before your parcel leaves our studio, it is fully checked by us. If you receive an item, which is faulty or damaged, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of receipt of the order.
We will be able to exchange items with manufacturing defects after running a stringent quality check process on receipt of the return. We will send you an email confirming that the return has been accepted. Cost of the return will be borne by the customer. The item(s) should be returned unworn and in perfect condition. Returns that are damaged or soiled will not be accepted and sent back to the customer.
Once the return is accepted we will re-make the same item and send it for you within 10 working days.
We will be happy to alter if the item(s) received are of an incorrect size. If you need an exchange for a different size because of sizing issues, please write to us at email@example.com within 7 days of receipt of order. For an item to qualify for exchange please ensure the returned item(s) are unworn and in perfect condition.
Once the item(s) returned reach our studio, we will be able to alter or exchange and send it back to you within 14 working days. Cost of return will be borne by the customer.
If you return your item(s) by post or courier, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, address, order number, reason for returning the item(s), shipping agency and tracking number of the parcel. Silaai cannot be held responsible for items lost in post, damaged in transit or held at customs.
All custom orders are excluded from the returns policy.
